Our Mission

Every generation of Muslims has crossed a desert. Ours is a desert of doubt.

The young Muslim today walks through a world of relentless heat: shubuhāt, the doubts and misconceptions that assault the mind from every screen, and shahawāt, the desires that pull at the heart from every direction.

Against these two winds, information is not enough, enthusiasm is not enough, and inherited habit is not enough. Only one thing survives the crossing: yaqīn. Certainty. Deep, rooted, examined conviction, the kind that does not merely repeat the truth but understands it, loves it, and can defend it.

The Oasis Curriculum exists to build that certainty.

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

And We made from among them leaders, guiding by Our command, when they were patient and had certainty in Our verses.

al-Sajdah 32:24

In this single verse lies our entire method and our entire aim. Patience is the shield against desires. Certainty is the shield against doubts. And leadership is what Allah builds from the two.

What Two Years Produce

The Graduate of the Oasis

A student who completes these two years leaves with more than knowledge. They leave knowing who their Lord is, and by which names to call on Him. They pray like someone in love. They can open the Qur'an and the books of ḥadīth and know, with trained certainty, what they are holding and why it can be trusted. They carry the Seerah as lived memory and the law as beloved wisdom. They have looked the ideologies of the age in the eye without flinching.

They entered the desert as travelers.
They leave as guides.

About the Founder

Imam Mowlid Ali

Imam Mowlid Ali is the Imam of Abubakar As-Sadique Islamic Center, an educator, and the founder and author of the Oasis series. He holds a master's degree in Arabic and Islamic sciences, and has spent decades answering the questions young Muslims grapple with.
